Thai stocks opened up 0.58% at the start of trade this morning. The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index opened at 1,486.81 points, up 8.51 points from Monday’s close. The trade value was 2.34 billion baht, with 542 million shares traded. The SET50 index opened at 926.09 points, up 6.68 points, or 0.73% with a total trade value of 1.26 billion baht. The MAI index stood at 580.09 points, up 2.58 points or 0.45%, with total transaction value of 186.29 million baht.
